Family stories, share prayers, and celebrate our heritage

It is a great honor to discover God's plans for our church through connecting with our history.



On Saturday, January 29th, we will visit the sites where:
  • The Brooks Chapel Methodist Church was located in Millican, Texas
  • The Ewing Chapel Methodist, The Orange Chapel Methodist Episcopal Church that was renamed to Nelson Chapel Methodist Church was located in the Brushy Community.
  • The First Methodist Church was located on Texas Avenue that became First United Methodist Church in 1968
At each site, we will hear the family stories, share prayers, and celebrate our heritage
